Soundwaves 2.12 is now available on the App Store.
This release contains some fixes to improve AirPlay support. Also, it prepares to support App Tracking Transparency, so it’s ready when Apple decides to switch it on. Please note that Soundwaves performs tracking and data collection only as long as you decide to keep using it freely, with ads. There’s an in-app purchase to remove ads which also stops any tracking.
Soundwaves 2.11 is now available on the Mac App Store.
This release adopts the new optimized for Mac user interface for Catalyst apps that has been introduced with Big Sur, providing a more readable UI thanks to larger fonts and some controls that are more consistent with Mac apps. It does require Big Sur.

With this release, Soundwaves is now more tolerant to erroneous responses from the server, trying to recover from errors whenever possible: the top reported problem was getting a response with invalid character data, usually due to broken ID3 tags.

If enabled, Soundwaves will automatically change your output device format to adapt it to the track it’s going to play. This might be especially welcome to people who have 24 bit/96 kHz FLAC files and would like to send them to their DAC’s without compromising that resolution.
